The Insect Inn IV can be effectively located in the very places flying insects pose the greatest health hazards - in the kitchen, near buffet lines, in the dining area. There are none of the sanitation problems presented by "bug zappers," which send sprays of insect parts in all directions. And unlike low voltage "stun" systems, which allow the disoriented insects to take wing, flies are fully contained inside the Insect Inn IV.

There are none of the contamination risks of chemical systems - the trapping system is environmentally friendly and largely biodegradable. Because the Insect Inn Iv does not use a high voltage charge which could propel dead insect away from the trap, it is allowed for use directly in and around food handling areas and it meets all applicable USDA and FDA guidelines.

Unlike glue board traps, which have a capacity of only 250 - 300 flies, the Insect Inn IV uses an exclusive cartridge system. As flying insects are trapped, they disappear into the take-up reel of the cartridge. The Insect Inn IV will continuously eliminate thousands of flies, while remaining effective, for up to 45 days on a single cartridge. that’s because the reel-to-reel action of the unit is constantly presenting a fresh adhesive surface and fresh attractants. There’s always a vacancy!

Glue boards often become useless after only a few days - their trapping surface covered by dust, grease, dirt, and maybe even flies.
